Dress up Your Thanksgiving with Ribbon

Nothing gives Thanksgiving the personal touch like homemade decorations you can do yourself. The turkey may be the star of the day, but dressing the table and decorating for your guests | family will add to the festive atmosphere | holiday. There are many simple | easy projects you can do with the help of ribbon that will make your holiday memorable | unforgettable.


Recipe Cards
Share your famous recipe for butternut squash casserole with friends and family. Print out copies of your beloved recipes on colored note cards, and then decorate with stamps. Select a wide, fall-themed ribbon and hang it near your front door | entry. Attach the recipes to the ribbon with clothespins and guests can take a recipe as they leave | depart.

Floral Place Cards
Instead of a basic place card, put together a small | petite bouquet of flowers for each guest. Make a cone vase out of cardstock and staple closed. Insert the flower stems into floral tubes and place inside the cone vase and decorate with ribbon. Use another wide ribbon that matches your table setting to attach to the flower bouquet and hang | drape on the back of each chair.
