Hip Hop Beats is a Music expression which originated in the African – American and Latin American culture in the 1970. The Hip Hop music was then categorized in four parts – Mcing, DJing, Breaking and Graffiti writing. The Hip Hop culture has spread very fast across the globe. The Disco Jockeys were the first to introduce the Hip Hop music by creating rhythmic beats. It was later accompanied by “Rap” which is a rhythmic style of chanting poetry.

This music culture created an original form of dancing and specific styles of dressing among the lover of Hip Hop music. This Music expression has seen a lot of refinement over the time and history of the culture.

The Hip Hop Beats Music is divided into four different patterns; the same is explained as below:

DJing: The DJ uses two turntables simultaneously. This is then connected to a DJ mixer, amplifies, speakers and various other modes of electronic music equipments. The DJ then combines two songs into one song and the music effect that comes out it is extremely soulful. In the beginning of the Hip Hop Music the DJ were the stars and were in huge demand; but since 1978 the stage has been grabbed by MCs.

MCing – Mcing ideally means Rap. Rap is a spoken or chanted rhythmic poetry with a strong music accompaniment.

Graffiti – Graffiti was introduced in 1960. This form is a visual expression of the Rap Music. This form of music was adopted by the political activists and few bands. The Graffiti form of Hip Hop was practiced at places where the music was evolving as an art form.

Breaking – This type of Hip Hop music has its history of origination in the 19th & 20th Century in Russia. Breaking or Break dancing is a unique style of dancing which was formed as a part of Hip Hop Music. In Break Dancing it is a misconception that falling while dancing is unprofessional and accidental, but according to the experts falling is during their dance steps conveys the sense of spontaneity.

This Music culture has a huge impact on the society. The youth has been influenced very fast by this music fashion and they have invented their own form of the music as well. The language of the Hip Hop music is very complex to be understood. It has a distinctive slang of language. The language used there in is identified as “Black English” or “Ebonics”. The language used in this style of music is very imaginary and full of metaphors. Hip Hop music has come a long way since the beginning since 1970.
