Animation has really come a long way these past few years, haven't they? These professional tools will make it possible for you to create animated clips like the ones you see in TV or in the movies, that is if you know how to use this kind of program properly.

But there are good things about the free, beginner level programs as well, like how easy it is to learn how to use them. The controls are all very simple that even someone who has no experience using these programs can learn how to use them. And also, the tools are only as good as the one who wields them; you can still do pretty neat things with a beginner-level program if you know how to use it well.

The software you use won't really matter as long as you have fun doing what you do. And that's the essence of doing animation anyway, have fun imagining things and even more fun bringing them to life in your computer. The computer and 3d animation software are just the medium that you will use in expressing to other people what goes on inside your head.
