MCSE Training Benefits IT Professionals

Some IT experts will state that they do not support Microsoft certification of any kind. Some IT experts feel that certifying with any particular vendor is merely a way for that particular vendor to guard their own product. IT experts even argue that they feel certifications of any vendor product should be performed by outside agencies independently. Some will say that any type of certifications or training such as MCSE training is merely a way to improve their professional resumes and nothing more.

Is Microsoft certifications and training such as MCSE training a false sense of competence for IT professionals? Do certifications and certificates of specific training courses guarantee someone is an expert on the courses they certified on? There are many capable MCSEs however, there are equal amounts of IT professionals who do not have the certifications of Microsoft and are still just as good at their jobs.

Questions arise constantly on the need for Microsoft certifications. The Microsoft Corporation along with other corporations have jumped on the proverbial "bandwagon" becoming rich from preparing training manuals and study guides for MCSE training along with other types of vendor training. One of the largest complaints with this type of training from Microsoft is the prerequisites in order to certify with MCSE. It seems more of a moneymaking scheme as compared to a solid-certification measure due to de-certifying tactics utilized by Microsoft by not certifying in their prerequisites.

It is a wonderful idea to motivate IT professionals to constantly strive to improve their skills. Where it becomes an atrocity is when it becomes mandatory that skills have to be improved only by the standard of Microsoft.

Microsoft does reserve the privilege to require prerequisites with certifications of their products. Where the true fault lies is with the people who do not work for Microsoft. These people have latched onto the false persona of the importance of MCSE training and have even made huge profits from their scare tactics.
