Ferrari FF: a car for all seasons

But if the arrival of the FF has surprised many, the same cannot be said inside the Maranello technical Department. The engineers, who bring the same passion and innovation to every new Ferrari they work on, had never fully abandoned the four-wheel drive concept. Just as they never abandon every opportunity that can make Ferraris incomparable in their performance.

In line with Ferrari tradition, the FF structure has one basic advantage, which is a front, mid-mounted engine and a rear transaxle helping optimize weight distribution: 53 on the rear axle, which is a great result for a front-engine car. The challenge was to add the minimum weight even when introducing four-wheel drive. The solution, original yet simple in its concept, is to avoid a double shaft, transfer box and differentials.

The FF is a model designed for the entire world: drivable on daily basis, in any situation. Whatever at the golf course or packing for a weekend away, the FF with its adjustable luggage compartment has room enough for every occasion.
